Father Fear: Shower Sh!t

Judge if you want, but taking your toddler into the shower can be a blast… and a productive way to knock the barnacles off your child (and yourself). But every father is afraid of the danger zone, that time when your baby’s sphincter is exposed to the world, unfettered by a diaper, free to destroy whatever it may…

This is one man’s story. There’s a short version and the long. I recommend the long ;)

Hilarious. Love it. I’ve had similar experiences w/ my girls, but not as ‘clean’…. :)

My girls have occasionally dumped an aqua turd in the bath, the Bondi Cigar Fish as we call it in The Antipodes. My younger little one often goes to a quiet place to take a dump in her nappy. And the smell. And I am SOOOO glad that my girls never took to finger painting with poo.
Laughed all the way through this.

I have a 3 week old boy and just found FatherApprentice last week. As I was going through the archives I came on this and thought “WTF?!” It’s just a little poo and it’s the best possible place for it to happen, I mean you just mash it up a bit and send it down the drain, rinse the kid off and you’re done. I realize everyone has their “thing(s)” and I lived through this one as a child when my brother crapped the bath we were sharing. So I made fun of you a lil’ bit when I saw this.

We gave our son his first full submersion bath today and, predictably, he took a great big deuce, in my hand, all over his back, just as we were finishing up. Seems only fair. But a quick rinse and we’re good to go.

Great story, great site, definitely inspiring and encouraging, keep it up.
