Such a profound reality. I had feelings of, “Can I love baby#2 as much as #1?” But when she came, it was a resounding “Yes!”.

Well stated. Total devastation.

It’s weird to think how many transitions are happening with a new child, and at the same time Zero transition in the love/devastation-if-they-were-gone department. You think that one would take more time considering it’s weight. Maybe the lack of time is what makes the weight what it is.
